Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition

Picture
Hardcore gamers that think they're the best on the block had better take notice: Devil May Cry 3 is going to kick your ass... a lot. I don't care if you've played through Ninja Gaiden's Hurricane Pack before, or if you've somehow overcome the level 10 Orochi in KOF '97, or even if you managed to beat the original Maximo without losing any health -- Devil May Cry 3 is still going to kick your ass. Of course, that doesn't mean that Dante's Awakening is any more difficult than the games I've mentioned above, but to deny the fact that Capcom's stellar sequ...

Devil May Cry 4

Picture
Mentioned in the manual, a number of demons appeared suddenly from the Mitis Forest and attacked the city. Luckily, Nero was present in the scene and he exterminated all of the demons. During this incident, Kyrie (labeled as the "private female citizen"), who was a traveling companion of Nero, was injured with Nero receiving a minor injury to his right shoulder. Also because of this incident, Nero's sword, the Red Queen, was damaged and was sent for repair.

Sometime later, at the game's beginning, Nero manages to barely make it to one of Kyrie's performances in time after dealing with a group of demons. He leaves her a gift and then prepares to leave, having grown tired of listening to Sanctus's preaching. Just before he can leave though, a
mysterious man in red bursts in through the glass ceiling during a prayer and slays Sanctus, the leader of the Order.

Tekken 3

Picture
As incredible as it may seem, Namco seems to reach a new zenith with each Tekken release. T2 firmed up the control system and response over T1 and now T3 has taken it a step further and perfected it. Not only that, but the Tekken series is also famous for adding a bunch of stuff in the home versions that were not present in the arcade game. T3 doesn't disappoint in this category either...but I am jumping ahead of myself here. When Tekken 3 was originally released in the arcades, it was thought a home conversion would be out of the question without some type of memory upgrade or expansion module to the existing PSX unit. The arcade game was developed on a Namco System 12 board. The board is basically a souped up version of the System 11 board (which is actually a Playstation), with a bunch of memory added and a tweaked up CPU. It was met with amazement and more than a bit of skepticism when Namco announced that the home translation would require no upgrades whatsoever.
